"After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth."~Genesis 8:6-11

The Philippines

Is there really any hope for capturing all that God did in two months of missions work in a single blog post?

Not really, but I'll give you a few glimpses...

My Team :D

Preparing food to give out in the slums

Hand-washing our clothes

Meeting adorable children

Playing games

Evangelizing in parks

Speaking in youth groups

Doing skits in churches

Leading in worship in a training center for the disabled

Leading Bible studies

Speaking and evangelizing on college campuses

Playing more games

Doing more skits

Meeting more adorable children

Preaching in high school classrooms

Eating things like this

And really doing it all to lead people in the Philippines to the God of the Bible.

Words really won't suffice to tell all that God did in my own life and the lives of everyone we encountered in the Philippines, and neither can pictures hope to do so, but I hope that this gives you some idea of the incredible experience that I was blessed to have this past summer.

I'll post again soon about where God has led me now :)
