"After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth."~Genesis 8:6-11

泰广告 Thai Commercials

Day 32.

Today was the last day on the theme of "Relationships".  We learned a lot about the importance of keeping relationships correctly prioritized and how to date with respect for both the person you're dating and their future spouse (whether or not it's yourself).  We also watched a lot of Asian commercials.  They are far superior to that of American commercials.  See for yourself...

All of those are from Thailand.
If you cried: it's ok, you're not alone.

Last night, (as it is going to be every Thursday from this point on) my ministry was English Conversation Club.  The DTS from Florida was there and they put on a bunch of skits for the students in the club.  Then we broke up into smaller groups and talked about the skits with the students.  We had the opportunity to share the gospel with them, which was super cool.  We also just got to start forming relationships with the students who we'll be hanging out with every week until we each head to our prospective outreach locations.  I met the guy who was president of the club last year (as a freshman!) and he said that he's a Christian and he knew that great ministry is done through this club and YWAM, so when he heard that it wasn't going to be continuing last year because of lack of leadership, he stepped up and led the club.  His name is Leo.  Also, the blind boy who Ann and I met last week, John, was there!  I'm looking forward to going back and hanging out with everyone there next week.

Also, we found out today that the travel agency extended our deadline for the money until Monday!  So right now a bunch of us are baking and we're having a fundraiser tomorrow.  Please pray that we get enough funds so that everyone can stick around for the rest of the school and outreach.
